Quite a lot of interesting books but some of the prices are a bit steep and you may find that you can get identical items considerably cheaper online. The shop is relatively small with some bookshelves running from floor to ceiling and just about every square inch is occupied, so wheelchair users would find it very difficult (if not impossible) to browse.

Just want to send a massive thank you to Michael the forecourt cleaner for his help today. He seen that I was struggling with a flat tyre as my car doesn't carry a spare and was my first flat tyre. He went out of his way to help me get my tyre fit to drive home I was stranded in a area I didn't know and with a dying phone I was very upset and on the verge of tears. I really hope that his bosses at the petrol station see this and are able to let him know I made it home safe thanks to his help and pass on my thanks once again he's a credit to them and deserves the to be acknowledged for this. Went for LPG gas (1st time using LPG) the staff were very helpful in showing how the pump worked (pump 1) very good experience . Clean well stocked shop friendly staff. Recommended. LPG 58.9p ltr.

Nice shop, a bit untidy but not anything like others I've seen. Upstairs had a cute area for books and DVD's etc, and some kids toys. Got some good bargains. Staff are lovely.

I've been struggling to find clothing that's different to the likes of George from ASDA, Greenwoods etc. I stumbled upon HABIT by chance a few months ago and I'm very happy. HABIT doesn't claim to be bargains (though they can be had), instead it gives a man a unique customer service. If something doesn't quite fit then the staff will bend over backwards to help. Something doesn't fit once you get home? Return it for exchange or money back. Customer service is second to none with this shop. Added to that you'll find some very good quality items from vests and shirts, all the way to socks and trousers. I return regularly because I know that whatever happens I get a service that can't be beaten. Cheers!

Surj provides great service and products that really work at sensible cost. He is prompt to react to any query He supplied us with an excellent cctv system. The installation was trouble free and without any mess. I am extremely happy with the finished product and can only highly recommend this company. A real 5 star award.

Techstop is a professionally ran company who we cannot praise highly enough. Techstop dealt with our problem quickly even though we contacted them out of hours and nothing was too much trouble. They have also suggested various ways of making our company run more effectively and efficiently.

I've been to Whitley Bay many times but only today found myself in 'For The Love Of The North'. Shame on me, as it’s a cracking shop, ran by a very friendly, attentive and pleasant crew… There’s loads of really good quality goodies, gifts, cards, prints, and pressies on offer from a lot of local artists. It’s a fantastic find and if like me, you sometimes struggle to think of a gift ideas, well, that’s one problem solved for you - or rather replaced, as you now have a new problem, what to pick :-)

Excellent gifts and interior design items. Their Christmas decorations are wonderful and it's my go-to-place for gifts.

Most of the furniture we own is from Blueberry Square! The quality is amazing and such gorgeous products which are great value for money. The owners are very knowledgeable about their products and will happily help indecisive customers like myself to make an informed decision. Husband very impressed by how sturdy and well made it all is and he is very difficult to please. We've seen some lovely Christmas decorations on the website so we'll order again soon.

Ordered a replacement pedal for my old singer sewing machine. Luckily they had one as I was really panicking as where to buy one seeing as the machine has 50yrs!!! Works well...now I can go on with my sewing. Thank you very much for your efficient service. Good work for the future.

Quite pricy but a fantastic and fun activity for children of all ages. The staff are helpful and friendly and they offer a good range of ways to decorate your pot. There is also an extensive range of pots on offer from plates and ornaments to door plates and candle holders. There are also a range of beverages on offer. A very enjoyable few hours.

This was late on a Saturday afternoon when all of the other builder's merchants were shut for half-day, and was something of a God-send as it was an emergency job that needed completing by Monday. I'll definitely be visiting Kelly's first next time I have a job. Thank you.

Fabulous jewellery shop, nothing is too much trouble for them. I have bought a number of pieces of jewellery from them for my partner and they have always been first class. Their bespoke jewellery is quite unique. Staff are extremely helpful and always polite. Would thoroughly recommend. I now live in the south of England but still try to buy from them.

Visit this store regularly. Constantly disappointed by the high prices. Deffinatly don't trust the signs, just because it says 'Sale'' doesn't mean it is cheaper than other stores.

Good range of outdoor activity clothing, footwear and general items, including camping equipment at reasonable prices.

I first went to Walkoutdoors because they had good reviews and offered boots I wanted at a great price, having now dealt with them can see why they get such reviews, great to deal with an outfit that know their stuff and give great advice / service - delighted with new boots which arrived next day

There isn't another place in the North East I would suggest anyone take their pets. The service is so good here. The staff are friendly and informed and more than welcoming with the animals. It is honestly like a haven for dogs! Just superb, cannot thank them enough! Brilliant!

Excellent pet shop. Staff are very friendly and always happy to help. They treat animals very well and ensure the quality of health care is top class. I have 2 dogs from there who are now 13 and 10 and very healthy even at that age never need a visit to the vet except yearly booster injections. Buying an animal you get great advice such as feeding, worming & flea treatments, required early injections and a list of vets recommended in the area plus health benefits of neutering. Perfect for in experienced pet owners as advice given ensures all these years later you have a healthy pet. I would never use another pet shop. Very highly recommended.

Called in yesterday prepared to pay the earth for a diffuser that would calm my cat that has been a nightmare! After speaking to the guy in there he sold me some cat nip and a toy mouse for less than 3 quid.... it has worked a treat and I'm so happy now I can sleep in peace ... hats off to this independent pet shop as he could have sold me the diffuser which is more than £20 but gave me the cheaper option that I would never have known about had he not said .... my custom shall be with them from now on !

Very good for air fills and dive gear, convenient for anyone diving St. Mary's Island or Brown's Bay.

Use this facility for swimming lessons with swim NE. Nice small pool depth ranging from 1m to 1.8m. Great teachers with small classes. Outside of swimming, the shop itself has an extensive range of diving, boxing, weights and outdoor apparel.

Nice local shop for most of your daily needs. They often have deals on, but make sure you check the prices at the till, as they sometimes haven't altered it for the deal or the deals are poorly labelled.

They fixed a badly fit wedding dress bought from another shop. They not only did this very short notice but they did an amazing job and helped calm the bride and reassure her and support her. I really can't recommend them enough.
