Reception are friendly and efficient and are very knowledgeable concerning treatments and what to expect from the practice. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I have always found the atmosphere to be light- hearted. The practice is scrupulously clean without being too clinical and has a lovely comfortable waiting area which I find helps to allay fears and nerves. Seeing a hygienist four times a year keeps on top of oral hygiene and nips problems in the bud before they become more advanced which can only be a good thing. The whole experience is no longer a thing to be feared thanks to Shannon the lovely hygienist. I have always found the dental staff to be very professional and up to date with the latest treatments. Mr Surtees in particular has been a great help to me over the years the and overall appearance of my teeth has been greatly improved. I know I would have lost a lot more teeth if it hadn't been for his patience and care and I trust him completely I cannot praise this practice highly enough! Excellent!

I arrived in time for my appointment. Another patient who arrived after me went to see the hygienist before me and I had to wait for 20 minutes to be seen. No explanation was offered. The woman who came to call me through assumed I was a man : really? In this day & age you are still treating women patients so sloppily? Shannon the hygienist is great.

Every time I come in I get free toothpaste and stickers from Monique and Angela always lets me ring the bell and is really funny. My mam won't take me anywhere else because she said they put up with me and my family and are really nice to us. We also like watching people from the reception window when we are waiting to be seen by the dentist who is also really nice. :D

Really happy with this practice. Friendly efficient service. Doctors always visit my 94 year old mother so she doesn't have to attend the surgery. Doctors arranged for her medicines to be organised and delivered weekly by pharmacist. Practice arranges for her routine blood pressure and blood tests to be done at home. Very positive experience all round.

Appointments are given fast, receptionists are reliable and doctors are professional. Prescriptions are always produced on time

Thank you to 49 Marine Avenue surgery for sending my prescription to Penzance by EPS to help me with a holiday illness.

As is often said nurses support staff young medical staff and volunteers give brilliant service but management poor as are some consultants. Like many others prefer to go to RVI and Freeman. Money spent on new Cramlington hospital was a large waste of money which should have been spent on the other hospitals

Awesome place with lovely people. Sundays at 10:30 - 13:30 are the services. Please have a look and be welcome to come back again

Hinnies is a local restaurant overlooking Whitley Bay Promenade and provides meals from brunch to Sunday lunch. Myself and family have visited on a number of occasions and always found the food and drink provided to be of good quality. There is varied menu with mix of local variations and standard options - as well as a children's menu. Staff are well trained, friendly and attentive, but there have been a few occasions on which we had extended wait times for food, but this is generally by exception and appeared to be a problem with kitchen service. This is an ideal location to go for a family get together or special occasion in a relaxed and friendly environment. I'd recommend this as a place to visit.

Cozy atmosphere, great location with a nice view of the sea. We came as a big group of 11 and they were very accommodating. Food was delicious!! Had the mackerel and it was yum!

Lunch with friends. Excellent lunchtime menu. Good choices with 2 courses for£9.95 . Excellent service, table settings and decor. Only fault. Tables too close together and entrance not disabled friendly.

Fantastic Turkish restaurant Service and food was excellent it was very busy but we didn't feel rushed we had starters and mains, drinks and coffee. All were speedily delivered and the table was cleared between dishes. We are looking forward to going there again as the food was so tasty. Especially the Lamb.

I love my curries & I can honestly say that this is the best Indian restaurant in Whitley Bay. Staff are great & food is delicious.
